Security Updates Released for iOS devices and Apple TV

Original release date: March 12, 2014

Apple has released security updates for iOS and Apple TV devices to address multiple vulnerabilities, some of which may lead to unexpected system termination or arbitrary code execution.

Updates available include:

  • iOS 7.1 for iPhone 4 and later, iPod touch 5th generation and later, or iPad 2 and later.
  • Apple TV 6.1 for Apple TV 2nd generation and later.

Users and administrators are encouraged to review Apple Support Articles HT6162 and HT6163 and apply the necessary updates to help mitigate these risks.
