Microsoft SMBv1 Vulnerability Original release date: March 16, 2017 Microsoft has released a security update to address a vulnerability in implementations of Server Message Block 1.0 (SMBv1). Exploitation of this vulnerability could allow a remote attacker to take control of an affected system.
